To loose inches around your core, you’ll also want to utilize an ab work out during each
exercise routine as well.
Lifting weights will burn more fat and more calories than simply practicing cardio daily.
Cardio will help your core strength as well as your overall heart and vascular health.
Be sure to drink 64 oz (8 eight ounce glasses) of water a day, at least!
Also stretch after a workout to reduce soreness.
Pain is not good, but some soreness is to be expected on some days.
Weight Loss and Fitness tips:
CARDIO – Try to keep your Heart Rate between 120-140 beats per minute during your
exercise session.
How Long? 30-45 minutes a day. Shorter if harder, longer if easier.
How Hard? You should be able to have a slow conversation.
What if I get too tired? Walk or until you can begin again. Keep moving until you’ve
reached your goal, no matter what speed you increase or decrease to.
WEIGHT-
Practice the following exercises through out the week, alternating days.
These exercises utilize the majority of your major muscles. They will get you accustomed
to lifting weights without being too overwhelming.
Bench Press,
Leg Curls and Extensions,
Pull Downs, Rows, Arm Curls and Extensions
How Many? Start with 3 sets of 10 repetitions
Rest 2-4 minutes between each set
How Heavy? An amount that will allow you to finish 3 sets of 10 reps.
Lighter is better for toning and avoiding massive muscles
